Choose Your Frames
The first step to take when you order glasses online is choosing the frame.
Shape: Whether its rectangular, aviator, round or cat-eye, choose something to compliment your style and features.
Size: The size of the reference frame chooses the style that suits your face shape, such as small, medium, large, etc.
Tip: How to buy glasses online that fit? If you’re not sure what works for you, use the Virtual Try-On to try on frames until you find the perfect one. Our Virtual Try-On will ask you to upload your picture so we can show you online how any frame you choose will look on your face.
Color: It depends on your personal preference. Most frames have several color options.
Choose Your Lens Type
If the frame choice has a lot to do with stylish preferences, lenses are the more functional aspect of your new glasses. In short, what do you need them for?
Prescription or Non-Prescription:
The choice here is pretty simple, whether you’re shopping for eyeglasses or sunglasses you have to choose: buying prescription glasses online or getting non-prescription (also called plano).
Prescription type:
What do you need your glasses for? Reading (Near-Vision lenses), driving (Single-Vision lenses) or both (Progressives or Bifocals). Before moving on, you’ll provide your prescription, either by filling it out online, uploading it or sending it later via email.
Complete Your Order
After deciding on lenses, the only thing remaining is completing your order and voilà, you’re done. Your new glasses will arrive at your doorstep in no time. We also notify you about your order every step of the way via email: You’ll know when your glasses are in production, when they are shipped, etc.
Standard orders are shipped within one working day after payment is completed (if you need to customize a special and complex prescription, please contact our customer service via email or phone to determine the planned completion time)

Yes! Log into your account and look up the previous order. If the frame is currently available, you will see the word Reorder next to the order number. Click on Reorder, and the exact same pair of glasses will be in your Shopping Cart.
First, use the Virtual Try-On to test which frame shape works best for you. Then, compare your current glasses' measurements to the frames' with frame size on our website. This should give you a good sense. Usually you'll find a series of numbers on the inside of the frame, something similar to 52.17.140, for example. Those numbers represent, respectively, lens width, bridge width and temple arm length.
It depends on what features you are looking for. The following categories can help with your decision:
Weight: If you want a super light frame, go with one that's 15 grams or lower. Titanium frames are generally very light.
Material: You have the choice between metal or plastic. Metal tends to be lighter. Plastic frames tend to be more durable.
Flexibility: This is a nice feature to have for sports glasses.
Color: Plastic frames tend to come in more color options, especially acetate plastic.
Hypoallergenic: Stainless steel, titanium, and acetate frames are hypoallergenic.
Yes! If you choose Frame Only and add to the cart, you only pay for the frame. Many frames still come with retainer lenses (not of optical lens quality) to maintain frame integrity during shipping. They may be removed if desired.
Absolutely, on the lens page, please click on the 'No prescription' for lens type and we will send you the frames with non prescription lenses.
Frames have a series of numbers printed on the inside of a temple arm (the part that goes behind your ear). The first numbers are typically the manufacturer’s style number and a color code. But farther down the temple arm, there may be important numbers that refer to the dimensions of the frame. These numbers are the measurement, in millimeters, of the lens width, nose bridge width, and temple arm length. Often the lens width and nose bridge width are 2-digit numbers separated by a square, and a temple arm length is a 3-digit number in front of or behind the others. Knowing these numbers can help you choose a frame similar in size when shopping.

PD stands for pupil distance, which is the distance from the center of one pupil to the center of another pupil. PD is an important factor. It tells you where you look through the lens of the glasses. This is especially important for people with high prescriptions, because it is one of the important parameters of lens prescriptions.
You can usually find PD on prescription drugs. In general, the number of PD in adults remains constant throughout the year, with an average PD range of 57-72 mm.
1. Binocular PD is represented by a single number, such as '62', which means the total distance between your pupils. This is the standard way of writing.
2. Monocular PD refers to the distance from the bridge of the nose to the pupils on both sides. It is marked as two numbers around 30mm, such as 31 and 32.
3. PD is marked as two values '62/59'. 62 is your distance PD, which can be used when you need single-eye distance glasses, bifocals and progressive glasses. 59 is your reading PD, which can only be used when you need monocular reading glasses. (The reading PD is usually 3mm smaller than the distance PD, because the eyes will be close when reading.)
You can easily measure PD at home, especially when you are with friends or family. If you are wearing glasses, remove them and look 10 to 20 feet away.
Ask the helper to place the ruler on your eyes while placing the zero in the center of the right pupil. Read the measured value. The number directly above the left pupil is PD. Repeat the measurement several times to ensure that the value is more accurate.
It is easy to measure the PD value by yourself, all you need is a PD ruler and a mirror.
1. Fold the PD ruler so that the side marked 'use mirror' faces outward.
2. Stand about 8 inches or 20 cm away from the mirror.
3. Place the ruler above your eyes and keep zero on your left pupil.
4. Close your left eye and open your right eye when looking straight,The number on the upper right is your PD.
We not provide eye exams or write prescriptions for eyeglasses. Please visit your ophthalmologist or optometrist to obtain both an eye exam and a prescription. They should provide you with a written copy of your prescription before you leave, but you can always ask for one if they don't. Please also ask your doctor to measure and record your pupillary distance (or PD) on your prescription. Your PD is the distance between your two pupils measured in millimeters (e.g. 60). Your PD is not always included in your eyeglass prescription, but it's very helpful for us to have when making your eyeglasses to ensure that they fit you perfectly.
To purchase a pair of prescription glasses, all you need is your eyeglass prescription. We also recommend that you provide your pupillary distance (or PD) . We will follow up with you via email if we have any questions about your order or if we need any additional prescription information.
On a typical prescription, you will see two sets of rows. Most of the time top portion is for your OD or right eye while the bottom portion is for your OS or left eye.
For Reading-only correction, there should always be a value under sphere and most of the time it is positive. If there is a value under Near Vision (N.V., N.V.O.) then enter the power in the BOTTOM half of the form and leave the ADD power blank or ('0.00').
For astigmatism correction, please note that that Cylinder (CYL) and Axis are always provided together. For any value of Cylinder there should always be a value for Axis. Some doctors use positive (+) cylinder and some uses negative (-), there is a big difference between the two so please pay close attention to the positive and negative signs. If you don't have astigmatism correction, doctors might just leave it blank or simply SPH or DS which means Sphere or Diopters Sphere. Axis should be from 1-180 degrees, if you see a value like '5' under axis, this is also the same as '005' or '5 degrees'. It should always be a whole number and there should no be decimal point on the axis.
For Bifocals, Progressive lenses, please check with your eye doctor whether the Addition is for Bifocals, Progressive Most of the time, compared to the Bifocal Addition, the Addition of the Progressive is higher by 0.25, so please verify. An indication to know if your prescription is for Progressive, is a PAL note written on the prescription. Only one ADD, means the addition for the Left and Right eyes are the same. Please be advised that we process a minimum of +1.00 and maximum of +3.50 for Addition powers.
Eye Doctors will sometimes leave out the decimal point on the Sphere, Cylinder and Addition. For example, -25 or +175, this is understood -0.25 and +1.75. Very importantly, pay close attention to plus and minus sign as this will greatly affect the lens. If there is anything on the prescription you are not familiar, please contact our Customer Service and we will be happy to assist you.
Of course! You can email us a copy at email , or upload it to our website one the lens prescription page. When you send us your prescription, please include your name, email address, and order number so that we can match up the prescription to the correct customer or order record.
